I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Substance Abuse Therapist who launched this business in 2009 and continue to love my work within the community.  I originally trained in International Business and Marketing and then received my MBA in 2005. I began working in Experiential Education and Psychology and after a failed attempt to buy the business in 2005 I decided tomove to Wilmington NC.  In 2007, I returned to school at UNCW and received my Masters in Social Work. I worked as a Substance abuse therapist for the Wilmington Treatment Center, and then as a specialist social worker for New Hanover Regional Medical Center and finally as the Director of Substance Abuse Services for Port Human Services.  I have studied neurobiology and trauma extensively and I practice EMDR, one of the most effective neurobiological treatment methods.
